A 45km stretch of road that hugs the shores of Lake Wakatipu and twists and turns through beech forest and alongside cliff faces. Be sure to make lots of stops along the way. Bennetts Bluff is a popular lookout with fantastic photo opportunities, as well as pull-overs near the lakeside.
